Rimi Sen to keep away from comedy films?

Talented actress Rimi Sen, who many consider a lucky mascot, because of her high release-to-hit ratio, is not happy with her career and specially comedy films. The lady has had almost a dozen releases in Bollywood and most of them have succeeded at the box-office, though a sizeable majority has been that of comedy films.

If we look at Rimi’s career record, she has given a string of hits. Some of them are - HUNGAMA, BAGHBAN, DHOOM, GARAM MASALA, PHIR HERA PHERI and GOLMAAL : FUN UNLIMITED. Rimi also made a short appearance in the blockbuster DHOOM 2. Even her DEEWANE HUYE PAAGAL managed to scrape through in the end. Rimi’s only outright flop, KYON KI, got her rave reviews.

So with such an enviable track record, why does Rimi not feature in the top heroine’s list or for that matter in any future biggie?

Even Rimi is unable to understand. But feels that she may have she got typecast because of doing too many comedy films. As a result Rimi has now decided to keep away from signing any new comedy capers.

    See she is our Bhabhi. Whenever I see her ( spl. in the Dhoom song and with Abhi) I close my eyes saying ‘tauba tauba’.

    BTW Q- Bhabhi ka ek aspect dekh kar app bhi pleasantly surprised ho jaayen ge.

    I think it was one of the awards function, earliar this year and she performed live on stage amazingly.

    As Jaani Rajkumar will say ” Hamein is baat ka qatai ilm nahi that ki woh itni umda raqqasa hain “

    I really don’t remember which one it was. Itne hote hain awards but it was one the starter awards not the biggies.
