10)Live Flesh or Volver (Alomodvar) , would have to think about this one!

Interesting for sure. I also haven’t heard of this.

Speaking of which inetk have you seen the legendary Death of a Cyclist? What I wouldn’t give for a video/DVD of this one! I was fortunate enough to see it in a theater. It’s not comparable to the best of Italian cinema from which it takes some of its cues (with an admixture of Sirk) but it’s a fine film.

The other film on which I have a video but await a DVD is The Hunt (saura).

And of course there is Spirit of the Beehive. These are to my mind the greatest Spanish (from Spain) films leaving aside Almodovar or Bunuel.
