SRK, Fardeen in Vivek Vaswani’s next

MUMBAI: Viveck Vaswani’s movie titled Dulha Mil Gaya- Say Yes To A Relationship will see Shah Rukh Khan and Fardeen together for the first time.

The film has Sushmita Sen, along with SRK and Fardeen Khan in the lead roles and is written and directed by Mudassar Aziz, to be made under his banner Insight Productions.

The film has music by Lalit Pandit, who recently broke out of the Jatin-Lalit combo. Pandit recently recorded six songs for the film. This will be his first project individually, after his separation from long time music partner, Jatin.

A romantic film, it will be set in Trinidad and will be presented by businessman-actor Anuj Saxena’s company Maverick Productions.

“Shah Rukh Khan and Fardeen Khan will be seen together for the first time in this film. We have also finalised locations in Trinidad and Tobago where the movie will be shot. I have already planned for an Eid release this year. This Rs 250 million (Rs 25 crore) project will completed in three schedules in the Caribbean islands,” says Vaswani.

Vaswani also intends to have well known cricket players, including West Indian all-rounder Brian Lara, in his film.

    That’s very weak, IMO. Hrithik, Aamir, Saif, AB Jr., etc. seem to have much more interesting films coming up (both from a BO point of view and in terms of good cinema).

    As far as I know SRK had a guest role in this movie, but now with the addition of Sushmita, and this article..seems like SRK has a full fledged role? Indeed a weak movie compared to SRK’s OSO and CDI!

    Jesse: SRK is doing a guest role in this movie. And for all said and done, he cares about his close people. Viveck Vaswani is his first producer and close friend. He was the (stand-in) producer for Raju Ban Gaya Gentelman. Now, he is serious dumps and asked SRK to bail him out. SRK accepted this guest role, but I think they wanna sell the movie on SRK’s name. It will be another Shakti-The power in SRK’s career. Its a guest role but will be sold using SRK’s name. That’s alright and people will see understand when they watch the movie.

    The last time SRK did a guest role was in KUCH MEETA HO JAAYE and before that SHAKTI-both those movies tanked:)..Don’t think it will matter much SRK or no SRK unless they publicise heavily as a SRK/SUSH starrer

    AS: SRK in KMHJ was sort of 2-3 min role whereas Shakti was proper 10-15 minute role. So, I’m expecting a 15-20 role in this Sush movie. And it would hardly make a difference to SRK and his career. But people here on NG wanna make an issue with this movie too. :-)

    This year, SRK is doing another 10-12 minute role in Ravi Chopra’s Bhoothnath as the husband of Juhi who dies after a time. Amitabh also stars in this one. That movie is for Juhi! :-)

    Sameer: I agree that it won’t affect SRK’s boxoffice career, however all my simple point is that I don’t think this movie will do any great business at the boxoffice eevn though the makers are evidently trying to advertise this as a “SRK/SUSH” film from the articles above:)

    I didn’t know SRK is in BHOOTNATH? I guess he is repaying the favour to Big B for PAHELI as well in a way:D

    I was a little skeptical about the the title “Dulha Mil Gaya”
    , but the complete title “Dulha Mil Gaya-Say Yes To A Relationship” is a winner…hands down 2 thumbs up

    Like Koi Mil Gaya spawned the Krishh franchise this one might be the beginning of a franchise…..a “DulhaRaaj” or a “DulhaBaaz”. A worthy challenge to Akshay’s Khiladi series.

    Sameer , Bhootnath is in trouble as of now as Big B & SRK dates cannot be matched as of now , lets see .
